Hardly an issue. I've been submerging Samsung phones with headphone jacks since the S5 and never had an issue. I have had many flights where my Bluetooth headphones died and I switched to wired. Headphone jack is a fundamental basic feature. Dealbreaker to not include it.

I love the stylus but the Note 9 was almost too big.
