I'm glad the image for this story is of a nixie clock for 2 reasons:

Panel's important, sure, but so is the quality of components powering it. If the rest of the stuff is low quality, or tuned wrong, that panel will die regardless of the manufacturer.

Since the driver sits nearly 8 feet off the ground and the front of the truck is virtually flat, the mirror allows the driver to see exactly where his front bumper is at all times.

Oh I understand, but my current TV is 37" and at 1080p it's pretty solid where it is, but jumping up to 50" would probably make what I have to look for now, much more obvious. Plus it's bigger than I need. Not complaining, obviously this is a great deal, and perfect for a lot of people, it's just too much TV for my

conference arena much smaller than I expected.
