Yes I know but compared to my 1080p monitor the resolution is much better.

Definitely. I'd like to know what it is since it looks pretty good =P
Considering my 5in phone is 1080p and most people use a 24in 1080p monitor that is indeed AWFUL.
300 dollar monitor vs 150 dollar monitor. it's not like I'm using some insane high end gear here.
definitely not as good as it gets mate. It's 2014 we've been using 1080p monitors for 7 years.
1080p is awful, sit down at a 2560x1440 monitor and then tell me 1080p is fine.
Exactly none the assets are detailed enough for it to make an appreciable difference.
It's definitely Chicago through and through. the only real bugbear with it is that some alleys/areas repeat somehow.
I have never gotten that to work though and i have a pretty decent knowledge of modding so *shrugs*
I couldn't justify buying rivals because of the 30 fps shenanigans, I'm not buying a program for my computer that is that fucked up... also 30 fps isn't great for a racing game.
I think it's just because they thought they wouldn't cause controversy at all this way. Probably not thinking about how many games already do have same sex options, nintendo just wants mass appeal so the made the trade off there. You DO lose some market share to homophobes in America and like it or not same sex…
I did, I hated Most wanted 2012, probably the most boring game I've played in a long time.
I grew up with Hot Pursuit II forwards. I know I'm in the minority with Pro Street but it was a good game even if it wasn't what everyone wanted, the lashback they got for it was insane for what it was. NFSU2 and Most Wanted (the first one) are probably the peak of the series. I haven't enjoyed a NFS game since Carbon…
It doesn't feel like there is any progression in those games for me, which makes it quite boring.
totally, Carbon was still a good runner up for me though, Basically the same game with more stuff (drifting, canyon races, better customization), though the theme wasn't as good but whatever.
They were alright but they felt like they were missing something. Pro Street was a great circuit arcade racer, different strokes for different folks of course! I loved pro street but know I'm in the minority for that. I really like to own my cars and modify them.
Considering how awful they have been after Carbon/Pro Street I am in no way disappointed.
There is much better shading going on in second sun than in HL2 EP2 as fantastic as that game looked when it came out it doesn't hold a candle to mo0dern shaders.
Indeed... because it can, but I do have to say these look great. especially considering the limited hardware they had to work with. and it's pretty kickass for a 400dollar machine.
The only thing i get really excited about is the indie games section, I get to talk to my favorite devs and meet new ones, try interesting concepts and just generally hang out with people who have the same passion as me. the bigger section of the show floor has cool stuff and swag but it's not the main event for me.
