I'm using a GTX 580, a 3 year old card (admittedly a very expensive one cost $500 when it was released in early 2011), I play AC4 on max at 2560x1440 and get 40fps. Before that I had a GTX 560 which is similarly old but mid tier and cost me 180dollars, I could play BF3 on mostly ultra and high at 1920x1080 and get

That's your fault for using shitty fans.

Honestly, I haven't dealt with many hackers at all in the last 4 years. Obviously they exist, but there aren't enough for me to even recall the last time it mattered.

I hate when people Rick James the shit out of my floor mats though.

Yeah, I was just pointing out that the console really has little value, but as someone who appreciates what it takes to design a computer it does make me cringe just a little. But I really like explosions and this one was pretty awesome, not just some jackass smashing one to yucks out of people.

It's just as stupid as someone pay 2k for one of these mediocre computers.

I think he genuinely likes the PS4 more. the PS4 was definitely designed with gamers in mind unlike the xbone, he probably would have been a little more positive about xbone if he wasn't given free stuff from Sony, but I doubt his overall opinion would change much.

The budget was literally tens of dollars!

You could try and hollow out the back of your base boards to run cables, obviously it's a lot of work unless you have a router the but the end result is fantastic. Obviously it restricts you to 18awg (16awg may be doable but obviously 14awg would be difficult or impossible) or smaller if you have thin base boards, but

Fair enough, I could never justify the expense/performance loss. but honestly most people won't notice even if you have terrible surrounds, so it's a reasonable solution. I hate having wires hanging down from my speakers but it's a trade off I'm willing to make.

or you could just turn down your subwoofer... unless Bose products really are crappier than I thought and don't allow that.

you would still need to plug them in, which kind of defeats the purpose. unless you have a crazy room with nowhere to run wires to the front.

I haven't heard a sound bar that's better than a 200 dollar stereo receiver, a 120 dollar sub, and some 100 dollar speakers. To be honest, the idea of putting everything together in a package that sits under a TV and having it be worth a damn is absurd.

China... power is pretty cheap there.

This is the new Kinect 3, it has 18 cameras, because, reasons.

Most places its not bad, its just super, super busy. Wall mart is always full of fucktards though.

That's part of the fun though.

Gizmodo loves amazon anyways in case you haven't noticed...

What if you knew you could have both anyways?

Did anyone notice Mad Max has an American English dub? I nearly fell out of my chair.
