The note fits in the MOGA and MOGA Pro at least... so it's got that going for it. If you put a note in this design it would be absurd, a GS3/4 would be about right.

"Old cable" it can make a difference. You can't guarantee a 1.2 or 1.3 rated cable to work with stuff new to the 1.4 standard, especially the lower gauge or >6ft cables.
