Build quality I would imagine, I have voiced my disdain for apple design before but one thing they do right is the glued together design, It's far more robust than anything held together with tiny screws or plastic snaps, and in a proper case should hold up to many years of wear and abuse without an issue.

They make a wireless product called "Plyr" I might see if there is a display for them anywhere.
