Fahey is supposed to be an "out there" personality on the blog though, I pretty much expect a huge level of self satire from him all the time. He's just having fun and it shows.

In the cities they are more than happy to try to speak English I found. Not so much in the countryside. Either way it would be wise to bone up on common French sayings.
Yeah, generally it's annoying but this just straight up makes it difficult to read.
Yes, and it's somewhat rare IIRC.
Dammit Marie. Its definitely to fund his mineral hobby.
Definitely plenty of general guidelines devs follow. Regardless there is plenty of info out there backing up the fact that L4D3 is in late/active development.
I am aware, but it's never obvious that they have a specific game in active development like the info we get here.
Don't be a dick. of course they have all kinds of ideas and little mock ups and proof of concepts all the time, but this image suggests late development/debug of the game and its engine. I was merely suggesting that sometimes they don't have anything more than a few ideas floating around. Like, they might NOT be…
They wouldn't because maybe they never intended to make those games.
The phone room could also just be a telecom closet with all the phone/internet gear in it.
Yeah considering I payed 50 bucks for my Onkyo receiver I can live with Dolby Digital encoded audio (though DTS is far better, come on Microsoft!) also you can totally get surround for games over optical, I've been doing it for a while now... there is probably a nearly imperceptible amount of latency involved in…
yeah, unfortunately the optical out makes it worthless in my setup. though TBH I really need to upgrade to a HDMI receiver.
it mostly has to do with unreal engine being a crazy bitch. In most other engines it would be very easy to just not render the UI on one side or offset them so they sync.
This is even better when I imagine it as a Chinese guy doing karaoke. (I know its a horrible stereotype but its far too often true)
I don't know how extreme it is here, but it actually bothers me more games don't have subtle breast animations, because its strange that they don't move in games but totally do IRL.
It appears to be a victim of limited character spaces the first game is cutoff from saying "kingdoms" as well.
Vans often don't have mirrors that are much better than your everyday SUV.
It is when you sit that close. ofc my monitor is bigger.
Your argument holds no water because people drive panel vans and box trucks all the time. it's just a matter of adjustment and driving style.
Irrelevant. Do you have any clue how many vehicles do not have them at all? They have never been a necessary piece of equipment.
