It's not exactly rocket science to make a drive work with the 360, I have done it multiple times, also with the slim you can just slide it right in since it is just a SATA connector in there, I usually just stuff some other crap in as well to keep it from banging around.

It's insanely easy to do that. You just tell the game its connected the read the output from memory and put the incoming data into the memory.
