I’ve got a 2007 X5, and you’re right — the iDrive from that era sucks. I think it got better in 2010. I love my car, but that’s one thing I’d absolutely change. So I’ll probably replace the 2007 X5 with a 2012 or 2013 model.

Those are dirt-cheap in the UK because... 9-year-old econobox. If you were talking about a 3-door 130i, then we’d be talking about something special. I think as soon as that car is sold, the Feds are going to swoop in and crush it.
