Seems clearer than the Rittenhouse trial. Guy directly endangered people, who came to seemingly see what the fuck was going on; and then without attempting to flee or deescelate the situation that he caused, he started shooting at people. The jury sounds dead right from my understanding.

They’re also using this process to rip off actors and other residuals-based performers.

I believe they can get a tax break for the loss. They paid to create the show then made nothing off that investment, so they lose money.

I did not think that I would end up liking Galaxy Quest this much or King Kong this little.

Galaxy Quest is a classic. World War Z isn’t really worth seeing, despite the excellent special effects.

It’s practically not even worth discussing. The House won’t indict and the Senate won’t impeach, because Republicans run the former and control enough of the latter that we’ll never hit the threshold for a conviction.

If we’re going to play the “should” game, how about “Should Clarence Thomas even have been appointed to the SCOTUS?”

The Republican Party and its network of operatives is now fully an insurrectionist, terroristic organization. Thomas’ casual acceptance of bribes, directly like this and through his insurrectionist wife, is illegal and warrants his arrest.

Hopefully, this new information will force justices to adopt an ethics code and force Thomas to step down since he continues to abuse his power.
