Yeesh, that opening monologue was bad. "Haha, weed" is a pretty flimsy thing to build anything on, let alone a 6-minute monologue.

Who among us could have seen this comin—

It’s always nice when a racist douche makes it clear by publicly making available the evidence that that they are, in fact, a racist douche.

Odie-ous. Sadly, this kind of thing has become the new Nermal.

Similarly, Garfield creator Jim Davis went on a disturbing, hate-filled rant about Mondays in a recent strip, which he then followed-up with an effusive essay about his favorite food lasagna.

Based on the pull quotes, I don’t think there’s some magical context that will make the braindead cartoonist’s virulent racism somehow lessened or explainable. Especially considering that we have a storied history of the braindead cartoonist being a right-wing shitheel.

The full context does not make it any better. He interprets some poll as proof that a majority of Black people have anti-White beliefs, calls them a hate group for it and says White people should stay away from Black people and that that’s why he lives in an area with little to no Black people.

“You gotta admit, Deep Space 9 was way better than Voyager, Kate.”

My sweet baby Nacho, WHAT DID YOU DO?

How long before someone publishes a Roald Dahl Extreme Edition with extra added racism?

And who could forget at the end, when Willy Wonka declares: “I have had it with these motherfucking children in this motherfucking factory!”

Thank goodness... Charlie and the Chocolate Factory just isn’t the same without Charlie’s catchphrase: “Fuck, that’s some good cock-sucking chocolate!”

It wasn't the end of the world and now its even less so.  You have a choice, fine by me.  Being pro choice is okay...

My son is a ninth grader now, and we never had any problem with him when we took him to restaurants when he was much younger. Not a single time. And I agree with this restaurant’s choice.

I am old, but if I hadn't been able to stay in my seat without disturbing other patrons, I would have been left at home with a sitter. My experience is that people 20 or 30 years younger than me don't necessarily feel the same.

Ideally, if the child can’t behave, you wouldn’t take them to a restaurant (take out is a thing). Sadly, people don’t do that, and they ruin the experience for themselves and everyone around them.

I’ve been there, carrying trays with 10 dinners on my shoulder and kids running around and into my legs... to the point where I walked up to the parents and stated “your kids have almost knocked me over twice FROM BEHIND, if they get hurt, it’s not our fault”

Good.

Taken, not stirred.
