A very good friend of mine suddenly changed and began saying inappropriate things - he was dead less than a year later. Another had to quit when he could no longer recognize the street his house was on after decades of living there. He also died in less than a year.

The problem in raising children is first, there’s rarely training in how to do so. Second, children are all defective - they don’t know all the things someone older does and simply talking to them cannot work for some subjects. Like, “Don’t touch that, it will burn you” makes no sense to a child who has never suffered

Q: “Where do you get information?”

The waterslide that was torn down had injured at least 13 people before the child’s death and had a design that was inherently unpredictable and therefore highly unsafe, even though the waterslide operators had tried a ton of tweaks to make it safe and it remained unpredictable. It wasn’t torn down until the park

Maybe they need to fill the boxes with raisins, instead of just being half full.

Her husband is now an executive producer on this. Yikes! indeed.

They won’t go to other chains over this because the other chains will either do the same thing or close neighboring locations. It’s why chain grocery stores leave similar locations.

Yes.

The true maniacs were the two cops who handed a bruised, bleeding, and incoherent 14 year old back to Dahmer after the kid had escaped and over the objections of more than a few neighbors who had called police for help.

In decades of covert operations not one has been caught and no mission has ever failed.

I’d rather see an in-depth expose of the police who captured one of his victims, fleeing for their life, and delivered him back to Dahmer. I want to see what good lives they lived after that, if they have retired, if they have barbecues and go out and have fun. Dahmer was a monster and acted as monsters do.

An LED Might last far longer, or the capacitor in the voltage dropping circuit might just die for no reason or the crappy crimp at the bulb base might oxidize (tungstens are always welded and soldered) and the drop in voltage cause the driver to fry itself trying to keep up.

LIFX bulbs are nearly $50 each. JFC they had better be nice.

AFAIK, while someone pays for the spectacle, the performer isn’t paid by the NFL. It’s a lot of work to create a one-off show and those most likely to do so are those working for exposure.

We should be - but when the big asteroid hits I want to be holding one of those buckets or be in one used for my urn.

I think he’s depressed because after a 30 year stint with Tyson he probably moved a large amount of his retirement to Beyond Meat - which hit a high of $235 and is now below $16 after hovering at $150 for a year before seeing a solid crash plan.

The sluggish nature of DNA test processing is a crime all its own, but in the original case there wasn’t any doubt about who the accused was and it falls into the ugly date-rape category where the accused says “Sure, we had sex, but it wasn’t rape.” Testing becomes a requirement when the accused denies contact with

“labor shortage” is company language for “willing to work part time for no benefits and minimum wage with some off the clock work and random scheduling to prevent working elsewhere.”

The main problem I’ve come across is that the weighing area/place groceries here spot if it is bumped by the grocery cart or the person, registers that as an invalid product placement and calling for an attendant. It could be fixed by adding a bumper but they don’t do it, leaving the edge exposed to inadvertent
