This is the sort of thing that would often be called “free publicity,” except Rap Snacks is about to pay quite dearly for this. There is zero chance they will stay on the shelves with this, so kiss all the development cost goodbye along with a good chunk of fees for their lawyers who will be mouthing “I told you so”…

Just had my first Popeye’s fried chicken sandwich - either it had been left a tad too long or they burned a sandwich and didn’t change the oil. Seems like the main difference with Chick-Fil-A was two pickle slices rather than one.

This is my shocked face that on a set where so many acted irresponsibly that no one is taking responsibility. It’s likely that they were overall so irresponsible that everyone was simply surprised at the outcome.

Better sense to that than a roast suckling pig with an apple in its mouth. OTOH, perhaps it was a fruit detecting beagle and that apple was the giveaway.

Even so, her blood alcohol levels would be unaffected by giving her pain meds and they would be able to screen for any other drugs she might have taken that were unaccounted for by prescription or as part of her treatment. They should be able to check for levels in excess of those expected for the doses she got.

Sorry - there was a witness who said she had been drinking. If she wasn’t drunk this was just her everyday attitude, which is even worse.

I think she was angry and decided she’d be angry at everyone, especially in the cars blocking her path. She probably didn’t give a bunch of thought as to who might be in them.

She was angry and drunk. Probably saw the other cars as just cars and didn’t care anymore that people might be in them. Per the LA Times she had 13 prior crashes and is suspected of suffering from serious mental health problems.

I speculate that Sam’s said - either this price or none of your products at all.

In areas where red light cameras are used the law is that the ticket is treated as a non-moving violation, like a parking ticket, and not assigned to the driver. In my state they were outlawed for that reason - that the law says the driver must be individually ticketed.

The ticket for moving violations is given to the driver. Until the driver exits the vehicle or is otherwise identified, the plate and address (which may be the wrong address if the owner moved or the plate is stolen) are not useful.

There is no “background check” or meaningful training that will work. The NRA is 100% confident of that which is why they back that idea.
