Those studies about farm children and allergies refer to the Hygiene Hypothesis. While there is some work being done with food allergies, the largest and best supported area for the hypothesis is around pollen allergies and asthma.

The point is that natural does not automatically equal good. Those delicious, delicious bacteria are also natural. So yeah, it's "most natural", but that does not make giving it to your kid a wise parenting choice.
Why would judge someone for giving a child something that is literally the most natural version of milk.
Same here (I am an old by fandom standards). I hadn't realized that it had become that much more accepted.
I saw an interview with a 1D fic writer a while back (cannot for the life of me remember where, though). If that article was at all accurate, then I'm gonna guess there is a 90% chance the story involves the 1D guys hooking up.
Just a note: the pink haired one is technically a cosplay.
WHERE ARE YOU FINDING ALL OF THESE?? I feel like I've starred you half a dozen times already and every single pic is gold.
#3 actually cause me to actually vocalize surprise as I scrolled past it. The others, while odd and/or ugly, didn't cause me to do quite literally yelp, so I feel like I have to vote for #3 as worst in this bunch.
That's exactly what I was thinking. I tend to get a mixture of the bus stop creepers and random comments about how offensive my fat-ness is to them.
I don't think being fat excludes you from catcalling. I'm fairly heavy and have been forever, and I still get comments. And if I don't get catcalled, I have a problem with, as I refer to them, bus stop creepers: dudes who hit on me/say assorted creepy nonsense while I'm waiting for the bus and therefore less likely to…
I realized I should add a bit more to inform my opinions on the the cost thing being a capitalism problem more than anything else- those stimulants I take? I'm on the generic and that shit is $35/pill. A month's supply without my insurance is $2100. I am not joking or exaggerating even a little.
Guess what, bro. I can't will away the fact that there is something wrong with how my brain regulates sleep. And by something wrong, I mean if you leave me alone in a darkened room, it will take me on average 2.5 minutes to fall asleep. The bottom cut-off for normal is around 8-10 minutes. At that level I am a danger…
Now, I can see the cost thing being a problem, but that's not the reaction I usually get. For example, my mom thinks I'm addicted to my allergy meds because I need to take them just about every day.
And is it true that Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar and probiotics can cure literally anything?
What is up with people having a problem with meds you have to take forever? Like, I have a sleep disorder and I have to take crazy stimulants. But even though I need them to REMAIN CONSCIOUS people act like it is soooo terrible that I have to take pharmaceuticals forever. Which is insane to me, because my meds work so…
Oh the layers of symbolism and all the re-interpretations of fairy tales and what not are the reason I'm in love with the show (plus the unique art design, etc etc). I just enjoy poking fun at Ikuhara's unrelenting weirdness.
Ah, okay. I've heard some clips from the dub and was like NOPE and only bothered to watch the subs after that, so I wasn't sure if the actors were different. I think they might have released a newer dub at some point, because I'm pretty sure the U.S. license switched hands (it's currently with Nozomi). I could just…
Others have mentioned them, but I don't think I've seen the Glenn Beck cards. What do they say?
To be fair, Kunihiko Ikuhara is pretty much a straight up crazy person, so who even knows why he approves anything. I mean.... the car thing. That was all him. Although, if I recall correctly, the original dub of the series is... exceptionally bad, so it is quite possible that Ikuhara was having a sane moment and…
I have a friend who a few weeks back was telling me about this like holistic doctor she was super excited to start going to and I was immediately like "Yeah, that might be okay, but they might be nutty" and gave her a list of stuff that should be a red flag. One of them was cleansing.
