Those studies about farm children and allergies refer to the Hygiene Hypothesis. While there is some work being done with food allergies, the largest and best supported area for the hypothesis is around pollen allergies and asthma.

The point is that natural does not automatically equal good. Those delicious, delicious bacteria are also natural. So yeah, it's "most natural", but that does not make giving it to your kid a wise parenting choice.
