Uh yeah, these are spoilers for episodes that don’t even air until almost a year from now, so that’s not really the issue here.

Personally I’d argue the parliamentary system is infinitely preferable.
I mean, I get that it doesn’t work for you. But $10 a class is a good deal in pretty much any market (or $11.13 for me because ClassPass is $89 in my market but I usually go only twice a week).
ClassPass is for suckers. Why pay for fancy classes at snooty exercise studios when lifting bags of lentils is practically free?
Is it really that crazy though? If you make all ten classes that’s $10 a class. I typically make it to 8 (go to yoga twice a week), and that’s $12.40 a class. Does that REALLY strike you as an exorbitant expense? And for those who did used to go more than 10 a month, it was even cheaper per unit. So of course…
I mean...people are mad because the cost and service went from something reasonable and unlimited, to less reasonable and limited, in a relatively short amount of time.
I look forward to seeing ClassPass die and fade from our collective memory.
I used classpass for a long time but cancelled because I ended up redirecting to a very specific kind of work out plan, but I really loved it and it had absolutely nothing to do with “being seen”. I live in an urban area with a small apartment (ie not much home work out space) and have a super hard time focusing at…
So what I’m hearing is that people are paying to be seen. Because otherwise, you can spend that money on a bicycle and hit Central Park as often as you’d like, no?
All the people I know who do ClassPass do it because it offers them variety. There are a lot of people who don’t want to stick to running, biking and situps because they find it boring and unmotivating. ClassPass in Chicago, where I live, offers them the chance to take classes at studios that do unique workouts, like…
I think most people are aware that they can work out at home or outside for free (or close to free). I think some people (myself included) prefer a live class setting to work out.
If you can get a good work out in on your own, more power to you! I work out better when someone else designs the plan and is hovering.
I’ll bet no one saw anything like this coming. Usually these public/private partnerships are great for both parties and a real positive for the surrounding community.
I’m not even mad, I’m impressed.
My college team was Indians up until a few years ago. People complained when it was changed, but it was boring. Heck, we would play other teams named Indians. Sorry you can’t dress up in a feather headdress any more.
Right? When I saw the headline my first thought was maybe the team was trying to shame them for using a racist mascot. But, no, it was just racists being racist in two different ways.
This is very impressive.... it’s hard to “out-racist” a team nicknamed the Indians.
This is a country in which Native Americans defending their sovereign lands from desecration and ecological calamity are considered criminals, but a bunch of white jackasses armed to the teeth can take over a federal facility and be exonerated of any wrongdoing. This latest display of bigotry and idiocy is…
Sure.
I dunno, I like the relationship she has with souled Spike in season 7. It’s not a sexual relationship, but it’s still a relationship - one I think is better than the one she has with Angel. With Angel she’s still so much a high schooler that it’s just creepy imo.
