This is my biggest issue with the leashes (as with most things dog related). Most owners who have their dog on a retractable leash, are usually the worst dog owners, meaning untrained dogs that are dangerous to people and other dogs in one way or another.

Retractable leashes are fucking dangerous. I’ve seen the rope burns/cuts that they cause in real life. Not that rare.

If you use a retractable leash you are a dickhead. This is a fact that will anger many people, but you are dickheads.

I like to keep my cockapoo (yeah cockapoo, problem?) close. Damn thing eats the nastiest things*. Wouldn’t be the worst problem but she ends up puking in the house afterward.

Another danger of retractables: You’re holding a plastic handle, and if your dog weighs more than 30 lbs and decides to take off, that handle can be ripped out of your grip. With a classic leash, you have a loop to put around your wrist.

Retractable leashes are actually straight up banned in my city. I do wish they’d be a little better at actually enforcing the bylaw though, since the people who walk their dogs on them anyway are the kind of people who let their dogs charge at passers by and trip people.

I had a retractable pull the dog’s collar off one night at max extension. I heard that loud reeling sound and knew the latch was inbound at the speed of heat. I just managed to drop the leash before the damn thing decaffeinated me. The best part was the dog comes running over looking at me like “did you see

Ever stop to consider that with your schedule and interests. Perhaps DAI simply didn’t have you as its intended target audience?

2 is much better than 1 - as much as I adored 1 upon first playthrough and as much as the lore and characters are still exceptional, the actual combat is clunky and just frustrating. I feel 2 struck the best balance between the action-heaviness of 3 and the storied slant of 1.

Hm, according to the Everybody meeting we had a while back, Mass Effect 2 actually was the best Mass Effect.

If you finished it in a vacuum it probably wasn’t that egregious. I certainly didn’t think so; given that I was high on the adrenaline of the last few sequences. I feel as if everyone’s opinions are colored and enhanced by the echo chamber hate that was going on about it.

I don’t get why so many people got butthurt over the ending in ME3. But then - I didn’t finish it until 8 or 9 months AFTER that controversy when Bioware tweaked the ending a bit. I found it a satisfying conclusion to the entire series...

But ME2 was so much fun. :(

It’s not just the card though, but everything that adds up. Those joycons look painful to use. I use the 3Ds as a reference. I really really wanted to play the Super Mario Bros and Luigi’s Mansion. I tried several times. Just gave up because of the cramping. To play the Swiitch, I would have to get a Pro controller

“I am a subscriber of something I like to call minimalist anachronism, or anarchism for lazy people.”

Well I guess the guy is Swedish but anarchism and anachronism are two different things. Maybe he supports lazy people dressing up in Victorian clothing? It can’t hurt, right?

Educate yourself

Who cares unless you want Zelda it’s gonna be a couple months for MarioKart to 9 months till Mario is released. I’m buying mine then if it doesn’t crash and burn.

“Don’t see how that’s different than any other console launch. There’s usually 1-3 decent games, then it sits until something else of worth comes out.”

You might need to get that cough checked out there buddy. Also barely any 3rd party support for the Gamecube and didn’t sell as well as the other two.

The N64 was considered a failure during its time. Nintendo who was once considered an unstoppable juggernaut got crushed by the PlayStation.
