I would assume as the number of competent, established automakers come out with viable alternatives, people will be less content to put up with the quality control flaws, styling, and other issues they would otherwise be forced to put up with as early adopters.

I don’t hate electric vehicles. I came REALLY close to getting a Model 3 instead of my current car. I just don’t think the timelines given are super realistic. I could see 40-70% by the mid 2030s, but there a re a ton of parts of this country that are very spread out and not ideal for mass EV adoption.
