Both co-sleeping and no-dairy are pretty normal at 6 months. My very mainstream doc said no yorgurt or cow’s milk until 11 months. And while I don’t co-sleep, I see the benefits. Especially if you’re a working mom who only sees your kid a few hours a night, it’s a nice way to feel close. My verdict - not weird.

Well, you’re right, a 6-month-old shouldn’t have dairy but their pediatrician will make it really clear that they have to move the baby to cow milk or an acceptable alternative once the baby is weaned.
