I have suffered through Cave Creek Chili Beer (I’m still gagging 11 years later), Shipyard Pumpkinhead (only “worsted’ by CCCB), politely sipped far too many of my customer’s EXTREME and ONE OF A KIND home brews (Seriously, I have an entire brewery at my fingertips, please stop bringing them in). Rhea Seehorn didn’t get a nomination?!?!?!? Burn the Emmy’s down, her speech talking Lalo down alone should have won her the damn thing. Read more

My local bar does a salad with poached egg, grilled asparagus and bacon with a truffle vinaigrette that would be a great breakfast salad. Read more

You know the show is firing on all cylinders when the weakest episode of the season (just in my opinion obvs) still has me feeling feelings and made me laugh out loud 3 or 4 times.

“Well cut off his hands, don’t embarrass him.” was a great line but the look on Nandor’s face when he said it made it the standout joke of the episode for me.

I get it, it’s in his name for crying out loud but what everyday magic is Babyface practicing to look like that. He has not aged a day in 30 years.

One of my building neighbors sounds exactly like Nandor and I turned him on to the show. He came out of his apartment laughing, looked at me and said “Colin Robinson, that fucking guy.” Read more

I absolutely adore this show and season 2 has been great. I still have yet to watch the movie which I plan to remedy this weekend.

If I can’t be locked down in the Bells Brewery during this my next choice would be in Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally’s house. Just that snippet of those two looked like more fun than most people should be able to have together.

The only time is stopped laughing was when I jumped watching those twins get out of bed and come to the bedroom door, that was actually pretty scary for me (I’m a wimp.) Read more

It was a horrible set up, agreed. I thought Che’s reaction was funny but I didn’t think the joke was all that great as well. I’ve always thought that Che gets the better of the two when they do this bit.

I thought this “live” episode was so much better than the first. They obviously figured out how to make it work but I did think Weekend Update was not as good. Read more

Seeing Lalo limping on the gravel and then start to pick up the pace reminded me of The Terminator and god damn if it wasn’t just as terrifying. A wounded Lalo may be the most dangerous (and again terrifying) character on tv right now. Read more
