i don't know if it's any consolation, but the dutch version of 'diving with the stars' at least made good on the implicit promise of nosebleeds and other bodily harm. (also: fat stars in small swim-pants, if that's your thing).
needless to say we're all eagerly awaiting the next show: 'stars diving on ice'

no way real gay people would ever hate how these 'look at me being gay' art-students try to convince everyone that 'being gay' is the same as 'obsessed with sex, always looking for a new hole to put it in and incapable of being faithful to a partner for more than 2 minutes. typically while under the influence of

exactly: they are really treading new ground with their cross-species relationship (humans are new to space, minbari are racist against other species).  they are not the first inter-species married couple in their universe, but it's still far from a common occurrence.

i like that everything feels cramped: because of costs you'd want to build a space-station that's as small as possible. with just barely enough room for the projected population-size.

i think that in the end thompson did jms a favor by leaving. somehow her performance just doesn't convince me.

my problem with people who claim that atheism is not a belief is that what they usually mean is that atheism is somehow 'the underlying standard'. they f.i. claim that all children should be raised atheist and then can choose a religion if they are adults (or stay atheist). all in the name of individual choice and

i dislike that he kills the security-guard. it's such an obvious 'let me just take a moment to prove to the audience that i'm a bad guy' scene.
you're not even gonna try just bribing him?
that would also leave less of a trace: somebody is gonna notice that one of their guards is missing. if you'd paid the guard to

well, you have to give credit where credit is due: he did make 'a 5 year novel for tv'. and you only need to look at lost and bsg to see how much of a feat that is.
so i'm okay with him having some bragging-rights.

i basically agree: the idea of 'showing the same story from a different angle' is potentially rather interesting. how does a day on b5 look like for all the people who are not calling the shots?
we've only seen the workers when there was a problem for the hero to fix, like when the dock-workers went on strike.
