that also bothered me.
i applaud jms for moving away from trek's 'the future=atheist' dictate, but that scene was every bit as preachy and self-congratulatory as some captain kirk quotes: 'hey, look at us humans being all divers and stuff, guess you stupid aliens never…

i think the beatles aren't that famous because they are such great musicians (not saying they sucked, just that there were lots of other talented groups)
