The Toyota Matrix / Vibe not only had a fold-flat front seat, but also a built in inverter. Learned to drive on my mom’s 2004, and it’s still running (strong) today with minimal maintenance, even being beaten up but almost 20 years of NYC abuse, same with my buddy’s 200k mile 2008 Vibe.

As a current E46 owner, this is a no go. There’s clearly the trifecta of lights (brake, traction, airbag) which means SOMETHING is wrong. That could be a steering angle sensor, or wheel speed sensor. Plus the tacky black painted trim & non-stock shark fin antenna and wear on the driver’s seat.

20 MPG slower, your fuel tank must have lasted forever!

I had to program my Focus ST to be able to do this with some (sort of sketchy) russian software, since it was available in Europe but not included in the US version of the car.

Look out for these... I had this model begin smelling like a burning plastic (a common issue, apparently). Called up Arris, & they sent me a newer model for free in exchange for sending back the old one... Took me a few days to figure out where the scent was coming from & they were EXTREMELY nice & fast to deal with

A dealership tried to convince me to buy a brand new Focus ST, with damage to a door. Stating that it wouldn’t be expensive to fix. When asked to come down on the price, they refused. The manager followed me to my car and asked what it would take to get me in it. I replied a new door, and (x) amount off the price and

Had one of these, and it began to smell of burning plastic (apparently a common issue with this model). Arris apparently has amazing customer service though, and send me the newer model (SB6190) for free, and had me ship this one back. Just be careful. You don’t need a modem burning down your house.

Oh man. Like Patrick, my ex had a CVT Sentra. It was a.... 08? maybe? bought from a shaaady Elmhurst, Queens dealership that jacked the interest rate way up. 6 months into owning the thing and it started to have issues. Since it was still under powertrain warranty, it went into Nissan and was diagnosed with needing a

Can we talk about the S4 coming to a screeching halt when there’s clearly an accident that’s gone on?

I attended NYC public schools in Queens, NY. The same ones my father did. When I went through the system, I learned a lot of how life SHOULD be. But also not enough. It was during Bloomberg’s start, when he was using the schools as test grounds- changing regents things, standardized classes, etc. Great for life and

Snagged one finally. Only worry is that it doesn’t have HDMI ARC, or HDMI at all. Girlfriend’s not awesome with electronics so I guess I’ll just leave it on constantly? I almost exclusively use the AppleTV Remote to control everything, and know I can set it to do volume at least.

I think you got the wrong picture for Uniqlo, unless it’s a garbage can.

Well, this deserves a #longisland .....

Cannot like this comment more. So damn true.

Holy crap! This was the car that was at Caffeine & Carbs in New Cannan a few weeks ago!! Exact car (I think).

Last year, my buddy paid me 100 bucks to drive his loaded up U-Haul from Westchester to his new place in the Financial District. I of course accepted, having grown up and lived my entire life in NYC, since I was 100 percent certain this would be no problem for me. I had / have no problem driving in Manhattan, even if

It's funny. I'm 23, and just got a decent job and decided to go for this exact situation. Was cross-shopping Focus ST's and WRX'es. Subaru dealerships were MUCH more reluctant to let me test a WRX, so much so that I didn't actually test any. They kept saying I needed a credit check, but that was something I refused to
