I heard it was $10mil but either figure seems HELLA low for how much earning potential (and actual income) that band had over the past 5 years. I assume he will still receive royalties from the albums, etc.

I think ultimately it's about him having more control over his life, which I can totally understand. The touring demands placed on that band are unfathomable to me. Just seems dishonest to me, not that it matters.
