I'm a lawyer, and I have to say he gets a lot of respect from me for doing this. As awful as what she did was, the fact is she probably has little or no money, and a judgment would not have accomplished much more than what he got from her confession. So instead of clogging up the legal system, he VERY graciously

I understand why people make things up for attention on the internet. It's a safe space for kids and even older people to try out new personas or be an idealized version of themselves.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: she that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have entrance into the club without waiting in line... because, really, if you have to wait in line...

I genuinely like modern country, and I've been extremely disheartened to see the complete male takeover of the genre. I don't know what happened between 2005 and now and if someone could explain it to me, I would be eternally grateful. Sure, you had Toby Keith and the forever-gross Trace Adkins, but you also had Reba

"Feeling parched? Urine luck!"

I'm a BB nerd, it's interesting this season because they added a new element. There are two HOH every week and then a Battle of the Block where one HOH's team wins and he/she becomes the main HOH. It's pretty interesting to see that element added.

Yes, iconic. Do you remember how many people dressed up like the Single Ladies video that Halloween? It was kind of a thing.

This comment combined with your name is making me laugh more than it probably should. I might also be slightly drunk.

Yeah I kinda perked up at that point.

I think this is the sentence that felt the most biased- "Whatever the truth of the situation, the whole thing reads a little like, "I'm sorry if you thought I sexually assaulted you, but I definitely did not."" It sounds like you are accusing him of mansplaining

Agreed. We can be sympathetic to her, and not blatantly accuse her of lying, while being sympathetic to him, and not automatically assuming he is a rapist/sexual assaulter bad guy and boycotting his work.

Sorry, couldn't hear you over the sharpening of my pitchfork.

Its only disturbing if this person is telling the truth. Otherwise, this is a perfect response to a liar/crazy person. I don't know what the situation is, but that is a response both a rapist and a falsely accused person would/could use.

Wait, I'm supposed to turn on this guy over an accusation made on the internet by a nameless, faceless person?

I agree. If you make your living based on your looks or your body type, then people can comment on it. She's a pretty woman, but nothing screams model at me. Same with Miranda Kerr; same with Kate Upton (she just does not wear clothes well enough to be a high fashion model.) Grace Jones is not conventionally

Thank you. That's what I was saying - I don't think she has the features to be a successful model.

I'm not body-snarking. I work in fashion, and there is a very specific type of face that models have - you need very sharp, angular features to capture light in a flattering way for the types of photos that most models take. She doesn't really have that.
