Classic Taylor. She hasn’t changed at all. But to be fair, I think her team consistently adds more shows when shows sell out quickly, so I don’t think this will keep anyone from getting a ticket as long as they’re waiting to buy, same as usual. Of course there’s a rumor she might not do arenas this time, so if that’s

I think people are reacting to the “I don’t like you, you lied, you betrayed me” lyrics but ignoring the “you have the keys to the kingdom, they used to be mine, no one trusts me, I got mine, it’s your turn” aspect. I think Taylor is fake as hell, the Kanye thing wasn’t a good look but I also think like any other

Nah, I think I just read it wrong. Her blonde would definitely have an extra long shelf life if she stuck to Nashville! But I’d be happy with another Red. Sad to think if she had gotten a Grammy for that album that she’d be on a different path now.

Isn’t this Tay just giving into her unquenchable thirst for attention and being right? Maybe I misunderstood your comment. I think she’s doing doing the PR romances but she’s def not done with the attention-grabbing. But she’s also almost 30—I think she’ll hit that birthday before promo for this album is even done.

I like the song but I also wish she’d go back to her older style of songwriting. The repetitive choruses are what made so much of 1989 annoying; her best songs were always the ones with like five verses and only a couple repetitions of the chorus. Those old songs weren’t as catchy and pop radio-friendly, but they were

I like it. I thought her lyrics came across as victimizing but the overall cheesy villain vibe of the song and her look makes it seem more tongue in cheek. Idk! It came across like a Disney bad guy knocking over the potion that’ll save the hero and saying “Oops, look what you made me do.”

she obv has fans on here just like everyone jez covers but for the most part i think jez commenters are realistic about her. hence why the majority of her opinions are like “girl is fake but she’s alright” (not “OMG I LOOOOOVE”) and “she’s so annoying get her out of here immediately.” i hate that this thread is even

Oh, I (tried?) editing my comment without seeing you replied. But the amount of “I don’t like her/she’s annoying, BUT...” comments I saw to support her during her sexual assault trial was pretty telling. tbh i think she’s ridiculous, i don’t even blame people for disliking her, so insert shruggy emoji guy here. I’m

my perspective is different—the amount of “I don’t like her, but” or “She may be xyz, but” qualifiers i saw just to support her during a sexual assault trial was pretty telling. on Jez and other places. but hey, i’m not in every tswift article. jk yes i am.

I mean among average people like Jez commenters, not really? because the extreme stan levels are on Tumblr and there’s nothing close to that level here.

I love how everyone is either ‘she’s not that bad’ or at ‘look at this bitch eating crackers’ levels about Taylor. There is no in between. Queen of Polarization!

taylor has so many legitimate things to be criticized for it’s sad when people comment just based on preconceived notions and not facts. there’s so much factual material out there. sad!

Taylor Swift fans are so weird that way. She’s transparent as hell sometimes, why not just admit it. You can still like her, no one’s going to revoke your feminist card if you admit she’s just playing a game.

Her fans were the ones claiming feminists were ignoring the trial, because there were 2 or 3 days of testimony before Taylor went on the stand; the story was already getting coverage from when he sued and she counter-sued last year, but people who called Taylor out for not being a good enough feminist throughout

You’re right about that. But you don’t need to qualify your support for someone who’s been assaulted and I know I shouldn’t expect more from Jez commenters lololol but I kind of do.

Agreed on all points, except the last. The “I’m not a fan, but” comments are sitting the wrong way with me personally!!

As her sole stan on here, can confirm she’s always been sharp. Can’t help but think her lawyer is glad for it today, too.

Her explanation makes perfect sense, too. She was surrounded by fans throughout the entire meet and greet and didn’t want to end it before she met them all, and didn’t want to say what happened in front of them. Besides feeling shocked or disbelieving, that’s just logical.

Some ‘best of’ moments from Twitter:

Mueller is suing Taylor, Taylor’s mom Andrea Swift (who is also Taylor’s manager), and their radio manager Frank Bell. Her mom and Bell testified yesterday.
