i was in labor from a thursday night around 6pm, until my daughter was born at 2:48am on sunday morning. i finally got admitted to the hospital on saturday afternoon because things were not progressing and when i finally had the epidural, i probably cried from happiness and was finally able to sleep a few hours.

i tore a bit and had stitches and was TERRIFIED to poop. i didn’t go for like 5 days, even though i was taking stool softeners. when i finally did go, thankfully it wasn’t terrible. also, i really really loved that little squeeze bottle.

i read this book before i really understood what periods were and for a brief time, the menstrual belt confused me and made me think periods came out of your belly button.

my sister and i were 7 and 5, respectively, and it was the same at our house! i still remember this wedding and i remember also watching Andrew & Fergie, and of course, William. my sister and i will continue to have a lifelong fascination with this family and there is no shame in our game.

they’re pricey, but on par with like MAC and other big names. however, i have found them to be incredibly long lasting, so i actually use less of it. i also like that they’re cruelty free and made locally :)
