ALBW felt like a Zelda game though. The two Switch titles feel like sandbox games with a vaneer of Hyrule for me. Dungeons/shrines dont have the charm of past Zelda titles. Not a single one of them is memorable.

Adding to what Holo121 said... they took the picture of the internals, that photo is their copyright and they can use that photo as they did and put it on things. Just like a paparazzi selling a photo of a celebrity.
Did you watch the video? He says like.. in the first few minutes that if it wasn’t for the easter eggs being copied he absolutely wouldn’t be going after them because he would prefer for there to be competition in the space.
... He addressed all your questions in the video. Without the easter eggs, he would probavly not have, as it would be harder to prove.
It’s an excellent thumbnail. No YouTube mouth, no colorful outlines, no sassy font, no exclamation points, no high contrast field with copy/pasted space ships and aliens and colored orbs.
Suing a company that only does business in China for copyright violations in China, within Chinese courts is largely a fools errand.
Stealing his idea is one thing, but stealing actual assets is another.
I expect this kind of blatant copyright infringement from sketchy overseas startups selling cheap knockoffs on Alibaba, but Casetify has always marketed itself as a premium brand selling expensive merchandise. I mean the cheapest phone case they sell costs $72. I hope DBrand and Jerry take them to the cleaners.
“Thanks for your patience and support during this challenging time.”
Please, I’m begging everyone, please watch ROBLOX_OOF.MP3 by Hbomberguy on YouTube. It's genuinely hilarious
The Intellivision released in 1979 - 44 years ago. So even assuming this hypothetical ideal journalist played it as a young child during its “heyday”, they would be at or over 50 years old. How many in that age bracket are even around or left in the volatile tech journalism field? Between that and the fact that 2/3 of…
“We bet you’d forgotten about sort-of-Intellivision’s disastrous attempted console, the Amico.”
No, since Hbomberguy’s insanely popular video about the lies of Tommy Tallarico put it back on everyone’s radar last year.
Maybe all this commotion somehow helps them avoid litigation, because I do not see any other reason why they would go through the motions...
There’s no doubt that this entire project has been an unmitigated disaster every step of the way. But it really doesn’t help that every story about it in games journalism media is written by children who have never owned or played an Intellivision and have absolutely no frame of reference for anything that could have…
I really doubt it’s possible to create a new successful console family at this point. Except maybe something like the wii or that portable one with the crank, I’m blanking on the name.
I figured the logic here was that it would be available on smart TVs so you could install it there and then use your phone as a controller Jackbox-style.
I’m legit perplexed as to why they keep trying to make this happen. It’s never going to be a success. You could have funded rafts of gatcha games for what they have spent already and the amico name is so toxic at this point that working on it is if anything, a detriment to any resume.
Z-Rated?
you have to turn it on in the rare replay menu but basically it lets you aim and move. still chunky compared to modern fps but much better than the side straffing controls. only exception is the final boss which is actually easier with the straffing controls.
They did? I need to go back and play it because I really do love JFG, but holy shit even as a kid who didn’t know better I hated the control scheme.
