Update: well, turns out it wasn’t a cop car, but the next worst thing: a wannabe cop. I laughed back when Regular Car Reviews made fun of guys who buy decommissioned cop cars to play pretend police, but I had no idea they would become this much of a threat.

“Not a police vehicle”, they say, as if they expect us to believe that anyone actually bought a current-generation Taurus besides police departments. It’s an enormous sedan - nobody buys those anymore in the US. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a non-police version of that car.
