A fax from your right-wing uncle?

It shouldn’t be crazy to anyone — It reveals that any single event or gathering anywhere has the potential to initiate an outbreak, no matter who.

Where the fuck do you live?! Where I am, everyone steps in the street, on the grass, stands aside, etc.

No. That’s the *parents’* problem, not everyone else’s. If you can’t keep your spawn away from people, then leave them at home.

I have as well. IMHO, it’s not “mask shaming,” it’s simple self-preservation.

This is the dumbest comment I’ve seen in awhile.

Once chip per Wheat Thin, baked for five minutes.

This is NOT a joke. Those bears knew there was food there, weren’t afraid of humans, and now — very reasonably — will have to be hunted down before they kill or injure someone.

Yup, this is not joke or laughing matter. Those bears will almost certainly have to be killed now — Moving them is expensive and frequently doesn’t work.

I did consulting with Suzuki’s leadership. The rollover problems were real (it’s the math of polar moment) and slumping sales were a very reasonable consequence.

My BMW mechanic sent his two children to Ivy League schools on BMW plastics (my E46 wagon included). They are legendarily bad.

Had one — a manual wagon at that! Can verify that requisite $300/month piggy bank deposit, enormous time requirement, and crap plastics (all OEM German stuff seems to be but damn).

NO. I owned one for 10 years — E46 Touring, sport pkg (17" wheels, seats, suspension), annnnd a manual! Fantastic machine. But...

That or the rapture is nigh.

At least you work for a company that is capable of grasping that vast liberal conspiracy of evil mysteriousness known as “science.”

It floors me that people think they canreopen” without a massive spike in serious illness and death. They somehow think you can piss in one corner of the pool and it won’t reach the other side.

Jeep was sold to Chrysler in part because of the mounting liability of CJ’s rolling over in ordinary conditions. IIRC, the Samurai was discontinued in America for that same reason.

You called it. My college roommate died when his YJ rolled. My brother nearly did when his now-wife rolled her CJ (swerving for a fucking tumbleweed).

Oh man, the E65 was hideous. And the beginning of the end of BMW’s decades of handsome, brand-appropriate design. I liked the E60 wagon but the lights and interior are still so fussy and “styled.”

A shameful indulgence but, yeah, same.
