It all depends on the objective, of course. As it is now, however, racing serves fewer objectives than before and does so less well by the year. It’s a simple consequence of less viewership, different viewership, and less regard for racing as a positive brand metric.

Racing generally, IMHO. I’ve been involved in marketing effectiveness/investment discussions at two manufacturers; It’s not good (not a ton of people follow non-top level racing, and it tends to be mostly be supported by racing-friendly executives who don’t hold it to ROI metrics.

Bull. Removing one ear clearly communicates, “we are speaking and I’m listening.” For the simple act of saying “hi, I’ll have a venti coffee please”, one need not take both out. Oh, I totally agree they’re fantastic and I’d absolutely buy one (I don’t need 20 tons of towing), but they’re not compact in the slightest! Also, the tiny bed doesn’t work for many of us...
