Now, I loved this show. It was certainly a great first season. But near perfect? I doubt it. Some of the acting choices were... certainly choices (looking at you Tobias Whale - ugh, and what was Lala doing in the penultimate episode? some consistency with reactions would be good). The writing was great, and the

But Maleficent already has its villian: Maleficent. The clue is in her bloody name!

Gretchen, is that you? Stop trying to make ‘Fetch’ happen, it’s not going to happen.

How dare you! I want to see footage of a whole crew and all their equipment falling through the floors of an official residence!

I think your reading comprehension is lacking - where do I say I’m intellectual? Nowhere - but I do point out the asinine argument. You don’t need to be a genius to see it.

Oh, hell yes! The whole first scene had someone in my cinema slowly opening a bag of popcorn, then getting a few handfuls. S/he was trying to be quiet, which just made it sooooo much worse and sustained!

Definitely. It’s much more tense thriller than gore-filled slasher, in that it has very very little gore. And what gore there is, is used to add to the tense atmosphere.

Another stupid argument alert - but people will still do illegal things so why bother stopping them!!!!

Stupid argument alert - because it won’t stop ALL there’s no point!!!

While it looks good, British news, and the that which broadcasts on the BBC specifically, would never have such emotive language as: “Who are these “Psiots” and how much of a threat do they pose? Your nieghbor [sic]* could be a Psiot. Your best friend. Your child.”

Harry Potter didn’t do any of it alone. Arguably he would have died in his first year if it weren’t for the others who helped him.

Username checks out.

I believe you called him ‘marginally talented’. I would like you to retract this statement: he is not at all talented.

*hypes

I would agree with you if it wasn’t explicitly shown as the reason Archie faltered in shooting the Janitor. I get you’re not a fan of the direction it’s taking, but anyone who thought the Black Hood story had been finished isn’t really paying attention... ;)

In short, yes. Yes he does believe it’s too populated. This from Feige (possible spoilers, perhaps?):

If you live streamed it, I’m sure you’d get lots of followers.

Wow. Just... wow.

I think so, most definitely. It diverts from the comics somewhat - it’s not a straight adaptation, so you won’t necessarily know where it’s going. And once you get to know all the characters, I’m sure you’ll all feel engaged with them. Let me know how it goes! 😊

Have you watched Runaways? That was a really strong first season that would be moe suited to a younger audience. And as they are ‘kids’ (and a dinosaur...), it might be more relatable in the first place. But definitely give it a go with your kid.
