This looks sooo familiar, what is it from?
The atheist's death is the most comforting kind there is. There is nothing to worry about with death, because there's literally nothing.
The native almost-extinct fruit bats on Guam are so cute I could never eat one (just think herbivorous puppies with wings!) but according to my Grandpa they are delicious.
Yes! Gender is not only a social construct, but a cultural one. We just happen to live in a country where Western European ideals dominate, but of course there are cultures where gender is categorised with more flexibility.
Ha, me too, on using the men's. It's only ever been in such cases as:

Turtleneck matching the blazer. I am intrigued.
Most of the terms we use for gender are both common—ladies and gentleman, boys and girl, men and women—and equally distributed in their usage. Male and female is the only pair where we see a notable difference.
No, probably because she's healthy and genetically gifted.
Ah. I actually pass through there (on foot or subway), and feel sorry for the drivers sometimes. But despite the crowds being annoying it's really funny to see hundreds of metalheads one night, and then the next hundreds of Katy Perry fans. Hundreds of democrats would probably not be as amusing.
