The cinematography in this film, is truly a wonder to behold.  Gee, what a wonder.  Truly.

I’m not sure I’d call the controversy ridiculous, but I do think it was overblown and unfairly lumped in with the rest of the very deserved #metoo backlash. He sincerely apologized for it and hopefully will grow from it. At the very least he’s earned another chance.

I love The First Avenger. It’s a great ‘80s movie that never was.

A shame ‘Booksmart’ didn’t get more asses in seats. It is quite fun. And a mere week after opening it was practically being drummed out of theaters. I went to see it twice only to find that the theater had cancelled the showing I had intended to see.
