The biggest things for me are tracking my runs or hikes and getting message notifications. Also controlling things like podcasts, iTunes, SiriusXM, etc. Do I need to have a watch for these sorts of things? No. Do I like having these things on my wrist so I don’t have to keep pulling my phone out of my pocket?

I’m fine with connecting headphones to the Lightning port. But I just wonder how I will charge my phone AND listen to Howard Stern on Sirius with my Lightning headphones at the same time?

I like that partition wall. That’s a good idea. Can mount stuff to it without putting holes in the actual wall. I just wish I knew where to get one of those.

So Evernote is useful because it’s a thing to keep all your stuff in that is inside a thing to keep all your stuff in. Got it.

How to choose the perfect back to school laptop? Simple. MacBook Air if you can spend a little money. Chromebook if you are cheap. Next question.

And... can do all that with your computer without needing OneNote or Evernote. Why stuff all that stuff in a blob file when those things can be organized as files on a computer?

I don’t know what it is but every time I’ve tried to push myself to get into using either of those apps I end up bailing on both. I think if I had a Surface then OneNote would be decent. I even tried using both when I was taking night classes and needed to take notes. But I ended up using the Notability app because it

I actually like the idea of removing the 3.5mm jack. There’s always issues with the port, lint gets stuck in there, etc. However, I don’t see using the USB-C port as the alternative answer. And I also don’t see bluetooth as a reliable alternative. I was kinda hoping they were going to come up with some type of

Hangouts is a good idea but it has too much stuff going on. This makes it simple to just pick up and call. FaceTime is the best way to do this but unfortunately it only works on Apple. So because of that it’s mostly unusable. Maybe this will finally be the thing people go to.

Seems like that would have a lot of latency related issues.

I’m just trying to figure out if raspberries actually do anything? I feed them raspberries and they are still difficult to catch either way. So I might as well delete all the raspberries to make room for more balls.

Windows 7 SP1 was pretty much the best version of Windows that Microsoft ever put out. But it all went downhill from there. Not sure what’s going on over there but I abandoned that ship long ago. I bought my first MacBook Pro in 2013 and never looked back.

I just did a 10 mile bike ride last weekend. It was just a casual ride. I made sure to pedal slow in order to make sure it counted as much distance as possible. But out of a 10 mile ride, it only measured about 1.5 km of distance. So that was pretty disappointing. Walking seems to be the best way to get distance.

We can pickle that!

The article says to just keep just one (the most powerful) of each. I actually keep about 3. Because once you evolve the most powerful one then you are left without any until you capture another. So I actually think it’s fine to keep a couple spares. Plenty of room in the back and transferring just takes a quick tap.

I’m just going to wait. When Yosemite first came out I was so excited and installed it. But I had a lot of issues and apps weren’t ready for it, etc. etc. I just vowed to never do a public beta again. I’m perfectly happy to wait and let everyone else work out the bugs ahead of time.

I just put the bag in the can and allow it to loosely flow over the rim. Then I grab a part of the excess and lift that part slightly up, twist it up real right and then tie it so that the bag becomes tight around the rim. Then you push it back down over the rim and it’s secure. No need for extra stuff.

For me, I used to think I would run slower in the heat but it turns out as I’ve done it and record my pace and distance, etc. I’m better in the heat than in the cold. When it’s cold, my limbs take forever to warm up and even once they are warmed up I’m still sort of stiff and don’t move as well. But in the warmer

They sure aren’t making this easy for people. It reminds me of when people get a traffic ticket and choose to pay for it with pennies. I gave up. Between the page being down and the circular links that went nowhere, I couldn’t figure out how to claim my voucher or find the list of ticket choices.
