Windows 7 SP1 was pretty much the best version of Windows that Microsoft ever put out. But it all went downhill from there. Not sure what’s going on over there but I abandoned that ship long ago. I bought my first MacBook Pro in 2013 and never looked back.
I just did a 10 mile bike ride last weekend. It was just a casual ride. I made sure to pedal slow in order to make sure it counted as much distance as possible. But out of a 10 mile ride, it only measured about 1.5 km of distance. So that was pretty disappointing. Walking seems to be the best way to get distance.
We can pickle that!
The article says to just keep just one (the most powerful) of each. I actually keep about 3. Because once you evolve the most powerful one then you are left without any until you capture another. So I actually think it’s fine to keep a couple spares. Plenty of room in the back and transferring just takes a quick tap.…
I’m just going to wait. When Yosemite first came out I was so excited and installed it. But I had a lot of issues and apps weren’t ready for it, etc. etc. I just vowed to never do a public beta again. I’m perfectly happy to wait and let everyone else work out the bugs ahead of time.
I just put the bag in the can and allow it to loosely flow over the rim. Then I grab a part of the excess and lift that part slightly up, twist it up real right and then tie it so that the bag becomes tight around the rim. Then you push it back down over the rim and it’s secure. No need for extra stuff.
For me, I used to think I would run slower in the heat but it turns out as I’ve done it and record my pace and distance, etc. I’m better in the heat than in the cold. When it’s cold, my limbs take forever to warm up and even once they are warmed up I’m still sort of stiff and don’t move as well. But in the warmer…
They sure aren’t making this easy for people. It reminds me of when people get a traffic ticket and choose to pay for it with pennies. I gave up. Between the page being down and the circular links that went nowhere, I couldn’t figure out how to claim my voucher or find the list of ticket choices.
I’m not sure. I got rid of Evernote and use Notability. Notability has a feature to deal with palm rejection. This person describes it here:
For me, I would just use the DirecTV app if I had to stream it.
I just don’t understand why they can’t simply have a toggle and leave it to me to decide on what I’m missing. I like the timeline. But I guess they know better than me. Oh well. After awhile we’ll all forget about this being the sheep we are and just accept the algorithm as the way of life. Sad. We are sheep.
I leave the iPhone at home and just use the Runkeeper app on Apple Watch. It’s pretty basic but gives me exactly what I need. I have time, distance, elapsed time, heart rate and pace all right there. I kinda give up GPS features by not carrying the iPhone but I guess since I run the exact same route every time it…
Bernie Sanders. An old guy with big dreams and no plan of how to get there. Supports the NRA and doesn’t seem to care much about women. Donald Trump. A sociopath, bigot, racist who will say whatever he thinks people want to hear. He’ll lie, make things up and say anything. Hillary Clinton. A seasoned politician with…
Just to see for myself, I searched on eBay and found iPods for around $50. So that was a little underwhelming.
Seriously!!
For $14 can’t beat it. But my only problem is that once I know the code, then what? I’d still have to take it in to get it fixed.

So I guess USPS figured they weren’t in enough debt already?
Of the 3 choices here, I prefer Google Drive. It’s got good enough security, is cross-platform, has Docs built right in, doesn’t get in the way, syncs files very easily, is well supported and has plenty of space. Dropbox is great too but they don’t offer enough free storage and they don’t have Docs built in. So for…
I’m not sure why I would ever want to switch away from Dashlane but this is good to know.
