Yeah, I’ll pass. I’m not looking to wash my hands with toilet water.

But git IS a top software skill. Just because it’s easy to learn doesn’t mean it can’t be a top software skill. Employers want to see it on resumes, people are using it, etc. So how do you figure it shows that they don’t know what they are doing by listing it?

They aren’t as good. Only Notability is good.

Geez. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting and eventually just dumped Evernote. I kept wondering how they could call it a note taking app if you couldn’t even draw anything in it. So I ended up sticking with Notability which I discovered a long time ago. So sorry Evernote but too little too late.

I’ve been battling bad insomnia for about 3 years now. I think it started around the time I quit smoking. Go figure. These days I take trazodone which is a prescription. However, it’s not a magic bullet. I’ve tried a lot of things and so far here’s what works for me:

“Do the right thing”. Great. For who? “Don’t be evil” was a lot less ambiguous.

Google used to say, “Don’t be evil.” That was a problem for profit. So they quickly remedied it by changing their name to, “Alphabet”. Now they are free to do as much evil as they want and they think profit will follow. We’ll see about that.

Where was this a week ago when I decided to do a clean install? LOL. I tried all these crummy freeware and trialware programs (none of which worked very well). But then it occurred to me to look in my Time Machine backup at the location that Messages.app files are stored. So I copied it all over and like a charm

Seems fine except I’m not a fan of how it 1> makes you login and 2> assures you that it will backup your work automatically to their cloud. Thing is, what if I don’t want my work “backed up” to their cloud? No way to turn that off. So I just went ahead and deleted it. I’ll just stick with regular Photoshop CC on the

Yeah,... all these “brands” become people’s religion. You’re religion is Apple while yours is Google. This guy’s religion is Coke while that person’s is Pepsi. Everyone has these strong beliefs about everything. Life is too short for that much stress over which brand is better. It would be great if people would have

Yeah I was trying to make a guess as to which one I liked best and would do the best job. I ended up going with 1blocker. Turns out I made the right choice. I also paid the $2.99 to be able to block ads and tracking. Works great. I’m happy.

Yeah, mine updated but no landscape or portrait option. Maybe it’s a hidden easter egg feature. If you can find it, you can use it! Haha

Didn’t Cosmo Kramer try that in a Seinfeld episode? It didn’t work out that well for him.

My computer doesn’t show a reserve your Windows 10 icon. It’s Windows 7 Pro, genuine, no icon. Tried all the fixes I found on the Google. I even Tweeted MS but they haven’t replied. This is the case on all the work computers I admin and my laptop at home. I guess I’m not very good at Microsoft. No soup for me!

The way I see it: Sports drinks (or better yet, a banana) helps you stay hydrated but water is what actually hydrates you. I tried going on a long hike with only Gatorade awhile back and that was a big mistake. You need water. Gatorade does help but it’s water that we need.

I must be weird. Seems like everyone loves earbuds that stick way into the ear. I just don’t see how that is comfortable.

Mac Mini

A tablet is too small to be an effective second screen. I tried it and it’s a nice idea,... but not very practical.

Whew! Thank you! The new interface looks very fun with all the colors and everything. But the old way worked way better.
