Thank you Nathan, for mentioning one of the two faux talk shows that regularly get skipped on these lists. CBB's reverence for pop culture is fantastic, but even more forgotten is the chaotic glory of The Eric Andre Show. Maybe if there's a 5th season, it'll get something resembling acknowledgement.
And while iZombie

They probably came out in 2015 in the U.K., but they debuted in America on streaming services in 2016

-Slight Disappointment, but still really fucking good: The Americans

Was 2015 the peak of peak tv? 6 of my top 10 shows from last year either ended or didn't air seasons this year. 2 of the shows (The Americans, You're the Worst) that did air had worse seasons than they did last year. Also, just in general, I have been much less enthused by tv this year than the past 3 years or so.

Chewing Gum has been insanely, completely ignored by the AV Club. It might be a weird take, but I saw it as a more comedic, British version of Atlanta.

You guys remember Hate It or Love It? That's a really good song, and decently justified his fame/hype.

Jamila Woods is forgotten all over this place. LSD and VRY BLK are both great.

I remember they got past Phil's death surprisingly quickly, but they also had Mike come in quickly after that, but I don't see the way forward if Gail kills herself. Maybe it's just because the plot line leading up to it wasn't as dramatic as it could have been. All that to say, I hope that's not the last we see of

Erik wasn't a jerk, and Hailey was really unfair to him. Unless she didn't care if Rodrigo stayed on as conductor or not

I think it was shitty and morally dubious for them to have Trump host, but what is the desired acknowledgement for whatever level of complicity Dennis thinks the show has in Trump's rise?

I agree that it's good that they don't show too much, but I do wish they gave hints at the roles of some of the more surprising members of the cast, like Donald Glover, Martin Starr, and Hannibal Burress.

I was actually thinking about this the other day; this is my second favorite Spielberg movie, after Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Supporting? He would never got nominated, but if he did, it would be Best Actor.

I know there hasn't been a shortage of people saying it around here, but fuck, Clayne Crawford is still absolutely killing it. I know there isn't a chance, but I cannot imagine there being anyone more deserving of a Supporting Actor Emmy.

Same with Coloring Book. There seems to be quite a few glaring holes.

Neither was Doughboys! I had to throw my uninspired vote to CBB

If this was last year, I would agree with you. I thought this season took a pretty decent step down after season 3.

At this point, I don't think there'd be many people claiming to have never heard of him. I feel like he's at a level of fame where it isn't 'cool' to say you like him and it isn't 'cool' to say you don't.
