I agree that it's better than Surf, but I disagree with the implication that Surf was not good!!

I disagree!!

So it's Lou and Fred Armisen's fault that the show is ending; at least now I have someone to blame.
Does anyone have an idea what Scott's mystery project that's coming out in February is?

I was pretty glad to learn on twitter that that was a Burger Boy special

A couple things:
-I was kinda hoping for a U2 mention from Scott & Scott at some point.
-I also wish they were able to rope in Kid Cudi somehow. I don't know what the filming timeframe was and if it coincided to when his mental health issues worsening, but getting all 3 bandleaders together would've been cool. Is the

I don't agree with you praise of BTI as a whole, but Telegraph Ave and the Kauai EP really solidified him very worthwhile musically for me. Before that, I liked things here and there, but the cringeworthy joke lyrics really hampered my appreciation for him.

As his former costar, Adam Scott, would say, this is a great bit

After "Me and Your Mama," I couldn't tell if I legitimately dug it, or if it was a too-calculated pastiche, but I'm fully on board after hearing the first few tracks. This album is really good.

If it means rescue from overuse and shitty covers: "Where is My Mind?" by The Pixies. Nothing is going to change that it's one of the greatest indie rock songs of all time, but a reset of the oversaturation would not hurt.

It wouldn't have. I just thought either Bonnie shouldn't have shown up, or Tawney should have never gone in the first place.

Gotta say I was not onboard with Tawney's storyline. This show can be so genuinely, painfully soulful, but this effort in this storyline felt a little too visible. Bonnie being so nonchalant about Tawney creeping around was the most obvious example of what I found flawed, but in general, it didn't work for me.

I still occasionally think of Huskey's screaming delivery of "what part of donkey dick don't you understand, ass-kisser?!?" and his horrifying impression of eating food in Childrens Hospital.

I made the biggest mistake of listening to that in public. I couldn't breathe from laughing so much, it was really embarrass.
Parker Posey Pox

Is Erik really unaware of Abigail Spencer's pretty extensive comedy background? She was a regular in seasons 1&3 of Burning Love. Unless he specifically wants her to star in a network sitcom.

Annual disappointment that Slade still isn't on Spotify, and that I can't add Merry Xmas Everybody to my Spotify Christmas playlist

I'm not sure how earned the scene was overall, but the line in the song where Shelly songs, "…and I'm sorry," and Maura starts to break a little bit was really powerful.

Haven't listened to DLM in months, but Doug usually comes through on guests for Christmas, so I'll most likely check it out

including Lethal Weapon?

SNL should just hire Anthony Atamuniak full time. His impression is better and funnier than Baldwin's, and he is a skilled improv comedian. Get on it, Lorne.

I saw Arrival tonight with a group of people, and none of us knew much about it going in. We were somewhat confused that there were subtitles, and after a few minutes when we realized language and communication were very important, so we thought it was a stylistic choice. Afterwards we did some research, and there was
