Light some candles and listen to Here?

I stand by my opinion that Brill Bruisers was a return to greatness after they dipped into 'pretty good' territory with Challengers and Together.

That was fucking hilarious, but no one would have been offended by that joke

He's Gus Fring?

The past few times Nick Kroll has been on CBB, I think I've preferred him in non-character mode. I've still liked the characters, but he's really funny as just "himself" too. Last week's ep with Adam Pally was one of my faves of the year.

Kristen Schall had a very weird way of disappearing into the role; I completely forgot it was her most of the time.
The episode was great, but the fake out overdose right before the real one seemed to be kinda cruel for cruelty's sake

After Suicide Squad and this trailer, I think we need to stop having men punching women in the face be played as some type of joke

oooh disagree. I really liked it. The filmmaking choices (use of shadows especially) were some of Spielberg's most interesting in quite a bit. And I really loved the flashes of Coen Brother weirdness that came through in the script.

Vulture did a 100 greatest jokes thing earlier this year. On the whole, it was horseshit, but it did introduce me to this gem:
"What’s the difference between a pickpocket and peeping tom? A pickpocket snatches watches.”
It is so fucking clever.

The most affecting recent example I can think of is Mazzy Star's Look on Down From the Bridge in Rick & Morty. That sequence haunted me for a long time after I saw it.
Also, to a slightly lesser extent, Seal My Fate by Belly.

Oh, If You Leave Me Now is owned by Three Kings for me now, though Butters gets to rent it sometimes

That's used really well in Adventureland

Head Over Heels owns that movie though

Props for referring to MIB as Johnny Bluejeans

I don't buy music often, but the artists I'd most likely pay for (radiohead, Kanye, Chance the Rapper, and now Frank) are the ones doing the exclusive deals. Maybe I'm just proving why they do it.

Why can't artists just let me buy their fucking album? Why do we need these paid exclusives? I know it's just 2 extra weeks, but c'mon

If we're talking about abortions, how about the abortion of justice that is Tom Brady's suspension, Mr. Goodell?

I was trying to figure out who dropped out for an audition, but I couldn't come up with anyone obvious

I really hope that time travel show Abigail Spencer is on in the fall isn't complete shit. She deserves another great drama or a really good sitcom.

At this point, why don't they just create Spoiler Spaces for streaming shows. They did the binge reviews in the past, which were fine if unnecessary. But at this point just create a film review-like Spoiler Space. All this to say that I really wanna discuss episode 11
