Sorry, but really, you have to listen to the marshals. In all motorsports, there is ZERO tolerance for ignoring or circumventing safety protocols. The guy used his car to push the marshals out of the way. That shouldn't be tolerated. I would ban him too. Maybe not lifetime, but for a year or two for sure.
