He goes in for the kiss. She goes in for the CURVE.
From the article:
Absolutely agree, but the article misses the best part (as far as I can tell): the interview where she finds out she won bronze! Embedded here:
For anyone wondering, Powell’s record is 8.95m.
“You look like Pee-Wee Herman in that suit!”
+1 for trying a low FODMAP diet, but FYI it was developed at Monash in Melbourne. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of any part of it coming out of Stanford - which isn’t to say they haven’t made any contribution (it’s been a while since I caught up on the literature), but they’re def not at ‘developed at’ status. Not that…
Seriously - it’s not something men can really feel justified in complaining about, since we do it to women orders of magnitude more, but “you shouldn’t wear this because it doesn’t fit my view of attractiveness” is a pretty bad point of view regardless of who you are and who you’re talking to.

Yeah, LeMarc tells them to put on a show so that it’s convincing for Vincent Cassel’s character, but it’s not clear to me what the value is in doing that - are they worried about him realizing where the real egg is and re-stealing it from them or something? Once they’ve made the bet, Catherine Zeta Jones forges the…
Have we put that plot together? They steal the egg from the train then spend days (weeks?) doing this other complicated heist and getting arrested and getting their families involved because...? Am I missing something that makes it make sense?
Having to steal necklaces was a plot point in Ocean’s 13, fwiw.
