He spoke just a few months ago (here) about living with his illness and aiming to make it to 55, when his youngest son would turn 21. So sad to see him fall short.

Had some range. What was he, like 23? Look at that hair! And Anton Oliver in the background! The Pats’ interest was in 2013.
Funnily enough: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Zeala…
This sort of surprises me. I would’ve thought an NFL team would target the guys with longer range, rather than precision, given all the kicks on goal are from directly in front. I’m not sure Carter had superior range at that point in his career. François Steyn would be a pretty good bet, though. Plus he’s a pretty big…
David Bowie got his name because his original name - Davy Jones - had people confuse him with the Monkee.
...pour one out for the Notorious RBG ...
It’s nice to thank people for doing undesirable things, even if they’re expected to do them.
I want a deep dive into why Leto’s Joker looks/sounds/is so much like Miley Cyrus. It’s weird and I don’t know what exactly is happening or why no-one cares.
This is the Sandra Bullock role that was a story because it was initially written for a male (Clooney in particular, I think). Bummer that the movie sounds like it sucks, but still cool that it happened.

She’s been there since 1992, and is still on the new ones that are being released this year (which still have the same colours and people and birds and buildings and other things as before).
li’l Jose tho.
It’s certainly in the PBUC manual, the manual for Minor League umpires (it seems the only way to get it is to buy a hard copy, but a page regarding that section, with that text, is here: http://www.nytravelbaseball.com/JOHN092215.htm…). I have no idea if the same text exists in a manual for Major League umpires.
“I think the most important thing here is to make sure it’s clear that we are not tone deaf and we’re aware of a renewed focus on certain issues.”
That’s probably right, and probably a lot of retweets too (I’m assuming they count?) but it still seems like an amazing amount.
298k really is an unbelievable number of tweets, though. That’s once very ~8 minutes, 16 hours per day, for the almost 6 years and 8 months he’s been on twitter. That’s unreal.
