But you can still get these...

I know a few artist who refuse finger tatts because they don’t last long. Really, though, shouldn’t an artist be free to participate or not?

I’m not sure that was his point.

That’s kind of not at all what he was saying.

It doesn’t require any gymnastics. The fact is that we don’t know what was going on.

Except the video doesn’t show us what happened before and why there was such a struggle in the corner. Her being pregnant doesn’t prevent her from behaving in a way that might warrant a punch.

I know it’s difficult to see, but a punch by a police officer isn’t mean to deliver justice or punishment; it’s meant to foster compliance. It’s easy to say they should have just de-escalated, but some people just won’t come down in a safe manner. I’m not defending these cops; frankly, I have no idea what precipitated

I’m not supporting this cop or otherwise. More a general comment on the attitude of most Gawkers.

I have zero problems questioning what happened and I have zero problems not always giving cops the benefit of the doubt; however, if evidence were to emerge that exonerated the officer, would you and others here be willing to make posts in support of the officer?

Well, bye.

He evaded a toll booth. He was on a busy highway. He should have stopped.

It's not about handling, it's about chances of a fatality occurring b/c of a crash. There have been advancements, yes, but crash tests still occur at like 55 and below. An 80 mph head on will almost always end in death. Unmarked cars are for the people who speed/drive like asses between marked cars.

Well.... I would be fine if they at least signaled they understood they need to stop at some point. But speeding up and weaving through traffic is not the signal I would accept.

He shouldn't be that close to an emergency vehicle, even if he suspects it isn't real - which he doesn't because he knows who is driving it.

Also, I'm fine with someone not pulling over for me (because maybe they don't believe I'm a cop), but they better signal in some way that they are not fleeing as opposed to waiting for a nice safe spot.

You can buy cop livery as well although that can get kinda pricy. The key thing here is the biker knew he broke a law.

except that he knew he committed a violation. It would be one thing if he hadn't knowingly done something wrong.

Yeah, but the way this guy did it was kind of dangerous. And chasing after a cop in pursuit is a good way to get into some deep trouble. I would suspect that the cop "running away" had more to do with how we are trained. There have been a few instances were I live/work that I cop has been bated by one vehicle and then

I can say it's against our policy to pin/PIT/TVI a motorcycle unless deadly force is authorized. Most of the time, we just take the plate and the rider's description and call it could.... until we show up at their house.
