Roku isn't made for locally stored media. Like the other replier said they just got USB support for MKV / h.264 media. Also Roku can't play AVI / DIVX / XVID videos. For anyone who wants to play their local media that is a huge killer.

I doubt it. The silverlight implementation in Ubuntu doesn't allow you to play DRM'd media.

Both running 2.1 with an upgrade to 2.2 out a few months later!

Always going to be some bigger better faster newer. If it does what you need and fits your budget.

My guess is they release iPad 2.0 on schedule and do a software update release in September to re invigorate the device. Then hold off till September next year to release iPad hardware version 3.

I wonder if it will have the oreo effect like the previous? I also loved WebOS but it was to slow and buggy in version 1 form. I hope they clean it up and make it speedier.

Windows 7 has decent settings to increase the font overall without it looking ackward like Windows XP
