This is a big part of it: news makes news, and more news makes more. From what I can find, United and its express carriers operate roughly 5000 flights a day, so 5 returns due to a maintenance issue would be .1% of the daily operation which honestly seems pretty impressive. Especially when you consider that seems to

The results are shocking.

Tale as old as time: get greedy - get caught.

I’m no Tesla-stan and think the CT is mostly a waste. I’m not at all surprised that this is super expensive and not what was originally sold to people. That being said, someone needs to compare this to the old Pontiac Aztek tent. My impression is that very few “bed tents” are super easy to assemble, nor do they look

Interestingly, they’ve now said it was written by a person instead of “Kotaku Bot”. Still no comments allowed though.

Right - just commenting on the lousy job the Kotaku bot has done in a different post because they have - surprise! - turned off commenting on those.

This is true (and I almost mentioned that in my first post). It clearly has shorter overhangs than a RAV4, but at best that puts it at roughly the same size.

The second paragraph of this article says it’s five inches shorter than the R2's 115 inches.

Since we apparently can’t comment on Bot posts any more? I thought I’d point out that the bot in the Fallout slideshow says Lucy is from Vault 4... when every single Vault Suit in all the rest of the pics is clearly labeled “33".

Such a fantastic game and so wonderful to just exist in the world. I even just played it on PS4, so it’s exciting to imagine how this will look!

It’s really cool but it also still has a longer wheelbase than a modern RAV4, so it’s not exactly “little”.

Yeah - I’m pretty sure I remember people being disappointed in Jones’ Juggernaut from the very start (as just a part of the greater disappointment in the movie).

Party of law and order.

He is right - Isaac is great in that role. I have a feeling he’s going to be disappointed though if he really waits for the BluRay.

Now playing

The Nissan Frontier commercial was pretty clearly inspired by the early Youtube video “405" with a similar premise.

I always thought these could be made to look pretty mean - supposedly a popular JDM gangster ride.

Yep - in that case it was the “Secretary’s Car”.

It’s usually followed by the “totally true” account of that one dude’s friend’s buddy who would’ve died when he flipped his truck into a river but got thrown clear.

There’s a myth right there - that a Miata is a “woman’s/hair dresser’s car”.
