I could not tell you what Hawaii OR Alaska’s flag look like right now either... I think Alaska is blue with a star on it? (goes looks - ah, close)

Production appears to have resumed at the Supra-maker’s plants in Japan, according to a report
I have literally never had this ever happen with any Android (admittedly I did not own a Samsung when that was going on) and, while hardly an Apple-stan - as I’m the minority ‘droid owner in my immediate vicinity, I’ve never heard of it happening to anyone I know.
Lol you’re right of course - mis-typed and realized at minute 15:01. At least the important part is out of the way now.
Yeah - not enough. It needs to scale upwards with weight at some sort of logarithmic rate. According to the linked article, a RAV4 hybrid (at 3900 lbs) would pay about $5 extra with the Hummer paying $30 at 9000 lbs.
I can see this working in PA for NJ drivers that don’t leave their home state much. Otherwise yeah, no.
Most of those folks just ignore the signs and carry anyway (and heaven help the store owner that used the wrong font or type size on their sign because they will get a lecture).
Interesting - yeah in my area there are dozens of choices (9 pages worth), but you’re right: you have to buy a certificate to the particular restaurant and the total purchase at time or ordering must be at least double the certificate’s value. So presumably you use this gift card to buy the certificates?

They need comm buoys near the populated areas. You just set up packet ships that continually jump through systems. All it would need to be is a reactor, a grav drive, and a robot.
I might explain the present brain damage though.
I’m sure one of the trim levels will have all of that chromed for the massive, blinged out monstrosity we’ve come to expect from Lexus.
It’s a very odd choice. I think the theory is it will be more size agnostic, but in practice it means it will fit nothing well. We used to make fun of the ATR airplane because it had square cupholders up front for the pilots - I guess it was ahead of its time.
If a significant portion of the new-car-buying populace adhered to the 10% rule, I’m pretty sure automakers would be bankrupt. That’s partly why loans are up to 96 months now.
it creates unnecessary entitlement among drivers; those of more expensive EVs with faster charging may think that they have a right to a fast charger because of the amount of money they spent on their vehicle.
Are you suggesting there are not shitty mechanics that take advantage of people? Because there definitely is a third option.
There’s clearly more going on here, but being able to turn a wrench doesn’t make you a saint.
On the one hand, I’m pretty sure Starfield is the first game I’ve paid full price for since I bought Tie Fighter at Media Play. On the other hand, it really does seem like prices have stagnated. I’d feel a lot better if the extra money went to the people actually making the game and not studio execs.
Modern safety requirements are much more than just airbags. Plus, a frame can be built that handles the power without the extra engineering and materials to provide for proper crumple zones and passenger protection. Heck, since the motors are mounted at the wheels, the frame doesn’t even need to have the same rigidity…
I would assume a big part of the weight savings comes from not needing to have all the crash protection that is normally required?
