I completely believe they had at least the basic premise lined up a long time ago. They’ve been pretty honest that once Iron Man took off, they started thinking big and you only have to look at how Star Wars (D+ shows) or the DCEU has been mishandled to see that big-picture, MCU had a plan besides MAKE MOHR MOVEES!

Fair enough but just the retro pay of the United contract is worth $1.2B so the remainder of the compensation package not including quality of life and other non-monetary benefits is still significantly higher.

I think she pretty clearly intimated you should be able to enjoy it on its own, you’ll just miss out on a whole other layer.

I don’t know, it seems pretty down to Earth to me.

“The deal that SAG-AFTRA walked away from on July 12 is worth more than $1 billion in wage increases, pension, and health contributions and residual increases”

Waay less than that. Try $15 to $18k a year in the late nineties/early aughts.

The front end is vaguely Land Rover and the back end looks like they lifted it from Cyberpunk 2077 - but not one of the cool ones.

Should probably set it on fire just to be safe.

I’ll be honest. I’d love to do a shake-based diet, but it doesn’t matter if it provides the technical nutrition - it won’t deal with the appetite. So I just need to get me some Ozempic and I’ll be golden.

It’s like spit - it doesn’t last long.

It seems like a bad idea to for the airlines to try and outright combat this. All it does is raise public awareness and point a spotlight on their “contract of carriage”, which they use to get away with all kinds of anti-customer service things.

Shadowrun had a similar idea where tech interfered with magic ability but despite being simple, it seemed to make a bit more sense there. That being said, there was another metric where your meat-parts could be overcome by your tech eg, your cyber arm could pick up a car, but it would tear itself out of your body if

Good on ‘em (though no surprise). And since it’s Deadpool, I fully expect there will be a specific mention if people look different in certain scenes. Something to the effect of, “Oooh - this must’ve been shot after the strike. You’re looking a little flabby Wolvie!”

Flip-side? It gives them a natural break to reassess and hopefully come back ready to build the next era vs some of the stumbling they’ve done attempting to evolve.

Oh I agree with everything you said.

I actually like these wheels, but otherwise you’re right on the money.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. This should be labeled fraud and trigger an automatic recall.

It will be interesting to see how that goes.

I know this is far more easily said than done (I’m a union member myself, and I get it), but unity is the key. As long as people will do non-union work then you’re right, it will never change. It’s a vicious circle. There are no union jobs because people will do the jobs anyway. Management has every reason to keep

I mean wow... this is genuinely outrageous. Not so much that management wanted this, but that they actually put it in writing and thought they could get it!
