I know that obvious question is obvious, but using the flag in a protest to preserve human dignity is offensive to this woman, but using it as a prop in her nude photos is totes cool?
Throughout it all, several of the assembled black students point out that she’s resisting arrest and speculate what would’ve happened to them if they’d done the same.
Ha! Yes, it was a scene in Fear (1996). The Sundays cover of Wild Horses was playing.
'Eh. I'll watch it so I can stare at Christina Hendricks and her massive tits.
James May: Class Hat. I mean Act. Act!
Dang, that hat is distracting.
It's not boys who made me self-conscious when I was a teen, it was other girls, and myself. It was actually kind of a relief and it definitely improved my self-confidence as a teen when I realised that guys liked the parts of me that I was most self-conscious about.
It's very nice that you found an environment in which you are happy, but I do wish people would stop deferring to evolution every single time. The people who write books and push the idea that humans "evolved" or "didn't evolve" to be monogamous or play football or drive a Toyota Cressida do so with very flimsy…
TBH, I think it would be much simpler if it were just changed to give the other party/parties legal power of attorney over your affairs that comes second to your own, so that they de facto gain your properties, have the ability to make medical decisions, etc and allow them to joint file taxes and so on (more or less,…
One story says she's fine and coherent, other stories I've heard says she had a stroke and is going both blind and deaf. This entire story of "finding" the new book is just very fishy to me and I'm glad the state of Alabama is looking into this.
I have to ask, was this post needed? Did we really need to bring this to anyone's attention? Not hating, just wondering.
What greater expression of faith in the American experiment than this; what greater form of patriotism is there; than the belief that America is not yet finished, that we are strong enough to be self-critical, that each successive generation can look upon our imperfections and decide that it is in our power to remake…
I rather like this "fuck all y'all" version of Obama we're increasingly seeing as he approaches the end of his presidency.
I found the article interesting too but I too agree we're only getting one side of the story. Plus I feel like neither the wife nor the husband are very aware of themselves and their feelings. The guy obviously is not fully "okay" with her decision as he doesn't want to hear about any of the details or even know the…
The problem with cheating is more than the act of having sex with another person. It's the lying, the deceitfulness, sneaking around, and treating someone you're suppose to love and have taken vows with like they don't matter. So, no, I have no empathy for people like that.
Just from some of the quotes from her side of the story, I can see that it's almost certainly not a normal, healthy poly relationship
Not going to lie, I find this a little upsetting as a person with health issues that have gotten in the way of things physically speaking. If this works for you, great. But I would be incredibly hurt if I found out my husband was cheating because of my illness without at least discussing that possibility first. Do the…
"Yeah, I think the fact that when he found out they didn't just call it quits and they found a way to make it work for both of them was particularly beautiful."
I don't consider this ethical non-monogamy. It's nice that, with her husband now aware of her other partners, he supports her lifestyle. That is indeed an open relationship. However, the fact that all her other partners are married - and probably NOT all telling their wives that they are seeing another woman - means…
Is it really cheating if the other person knows and accepts it, or is it just an open marriage?
