"Shedunit!"

Oh? I had a chance conversation in a bar with several members of the Pete Best Band (who had just opened for the newer Zombies config) and they indicated he was thoroughly unpleasant. His stage persona seemed to confirm that. Still, perhaps he's bitter about something?

Good piece but not crazy about the lazy, tepid "Head" comments. At the real risk of sounding insane, I submit "Head" was better than "Help," perhaps even "Hard Day's Night," if we're honest about the shock, art and even truth of The Monkees' demented, deliberate suicide piece…

If only Goodell could be sent far, far away in the TARDIS…

You look at these shows (none of which I've ever heard of, let alone seen) and you think of the hundreds of people involved, the creatives, the technicians, all this talent, who all drew a paycheck, who all had likely convinced themselves, "finally, I made it! A network TV show, I can quit the grocery store," and then

c'mon man…he played with Zappa, so he's not worthless at all, though I would certainly never buy or experience any of his endless (undoubtedly) masturbatory shredding…

Also, XTC, "I Remember the Sun."

oh, ye of little faith….

…and yet, Eastwood is reputed a Jazz Hepster, as well being mayor-for-life of Carmel, of all places…Still look at The Enforcer; the freaks are Manson-style in the extreme, including foxy hippie chix, Eastwood obviously hates them viscerally…

I agree…it looks like some kind of Fraternity Rite; "must be filmed getting get punched in the face to join up."

I'm a bit surprised Mr. Reiff didn't mention the much better known early version of "Train" by Johnny Burnette's Rock and Roll Trio in 1956.

Friend, just One Weird Trick to make Millions…the Acai Berry!

To be fair, Hitler did kill Blondi with cyanide…so that's sort of mitigating, isn't it?

Could be Rebel Wilson's next dramatic project…

That's an intriguing way of looking at it, generally…one man's foolhardiness and inept execution is another's cunning, dash and bad luck…

Surely, Sir, you forget yourself! You are impertinent! You throw your love of Learned Fiction about as might a brute beast throw the carcass of the lamb. God's teeth!
,

"fewer" protracted fights…

Rowr!

…and Sharpe was the Aces! A quality, entertaining series…

Much love for The Master, no matter what you think. Shockingly long and patient…
