Well, if by “same people” you mean me, yeah, just not Destiny. I don’t really think the campaigns are (up until now) are as fun as some of the more endgame stuff. With that said, adding Legendary versions to the old campaigns would instantly rocket them up in terms of worthiness; the Witch Queen campaign was so dope.

This is why I said I’m not usually this guy, because in principle I agree. I think in practice though, Destiny’s best content is almost all endgame, so most players are tackling that stuff instead of older missions.

“Well you can’t get rewards from them so what’s the point?”

was literally just thinking the same thing, lol

I generally try not to use this phrase, but: Based take.

Huh, I had no idea. I used to take my Xbox on trips with me, and this sounds like a killer feature (I already love QR as-is).

I haven’t played Anthem in...maybe a year or two (I think I stopped soon after the first Cataclysm), but I remember some of the event weapons being absolutely busted back then, to the point where you didn’t really need to worry about powers at all; I think they may have nerfed some since, but I don’t know. Regardless

Oh, it absolutely has those; I’d go so far as to say that’s basically what the game’s combat is based around, lol. It’s definitely a lot if you’re not used to it.

I mean, there are a ton of things we can’t do better than a computer, but sitting around being complacent and letting a machine do everything isn’t fun for everyone. Besides, beating another human at chess has nothing to do with computers in the first place.

I dunno, Anthem is a loot shooter, one could just as easily argue that if you don’t care about the guns, you’re not going to get much out of the game, in the same way people that just play Destiny for its campaigns are missing 75% of the game.

To be fair, I’d argue that you could say the same about almost any game; I could probably come up with 20 “better” games than almost any I’m currently playing, so for me it more comes down to mood. There are very few games that actually play like Anthem does, so that’s it’s selling point (not advocating for everyone

I agree. I really liked going for a “god roll” of the event weapons, but even then, it was basically “get x weapon with a high damage mod roll,” and there were only a couple actual viable choices.

All jokes aside, the game is a steal at a low price point. Does it feel “complete”? Maybe not, but there’s a campaign with a definitive ending (a la Destiny’s campaigns, where you basically resolve a story that introduces you to a larger struggle), and the world exploration is fun as hell.

They aren’t always with 4 players, but yeah, it wasn’t too bad the last time I tried; I’d imagine it depends on the difficulty you’re attempting, though.

So wait, does this mean that the multiplayer packs in ME3 will be free after October 11th, or that they’ll just be removed altogether?

As others have said, I’d be very onboard for this if it were official. Since it isn’t, we’re basically getting a ton of stuff that isn’t proven to be lore, and as cool as the community’s work on patching clues together has been, I’d much rather have books filled with just facts, especially for a world as confusing as

Probably a small one in NYC

I dunno, I think Vegeta is a ton more interesting than most of the DBZ cast, who are just kinda happy-go-lucky as a group. With that said, Piccolo is my other favorite character, so clearly I just like the edgy, angry ones, lol.

I love that every year or two there’s a new variation of the “why aren’t Millennials buying diamonds?!?” scare headline.

lol, did your grandkid set up this kinja account for you?
